Responsibilities:

Drives and coordinates work related to overall Card Risk office efforts by working with the Partnerships Business Unit and with the second line of defense risk management teams. Helps to enhance risk identification and assessment processes across Capital One by providing thought leadership, oversight, and coordination with other risk management activities across the company. Supports interactions with Internal Audit and Regulatory agencies related to our work, as applicable. Analyzes information to proactively identify risks, trends, and process improvements; supports reporting on risk topics to management. Stays current on the changing regulatory environment and understand the impacts to our efforts. Assists and drives project and program delivery, including project and process management, reporting, facilitation of senior leadership meetings, drafting and reviewing materials for senior management and other governance activities. Participates in risk and other management forums and contributes to continuous improvement of risk and project / program management practices. Sets direction, manages expectations, and may lead cross-functional teams through various initiatives, including oversight of third party resources. Participate in and execute other special projects for the team on a periodic basis

Basic Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience in Risk Management At least 2 years experience in operations, project management or process management At least 2 years experience in People Management

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree/Masters Degree 5+ years of experience as a Project or Process Manager within the financial services industry 5+ years experience in Operations or Risk Management 5+ years experience in People Management
