What’s the position?

Our Due Diligence Investigations Manager will be responsible for conducting comprehensive background reviews on vendors, entities, and individuals in the highly regulated online sports wagering and digital casino environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investigations and procurement focusing on vendor due diligence and compliance. They will also have experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate compliance plans, and statutory and regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Research and compile relevant documentation and background reports on vendors, entities, and individuals for due diligence and investigatory purposes.

  • Present findings to the Compliance Officer and Senior Management.

  • Develop a sophisticated working knowledge of due diligence and investigations based on rigorous research methodology and identify and use various information sources.

  • Assist in developing and implementing Due Diligence Investigations/Probity Review Standards and Procedures.

  • Develop and maintain a due diligence investigations master database for all vendors, entities, and employees.

  • Conduct an annual Due Diligence review on existing vendors.

  • Develop and implement training programs for staff on due diligence and compliance matters.

  • Provide research and other services to support senior management on due diligence and other related compliance matters.


What are we looking for?

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, law, or criminal justice is preferred.

  • Certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), or Certified Due Diligence Professional (CDDP) may be beneficial.

  • Background in risk management, compliance, law enforcement, or legal services preferred.

  • The ability to handle highly personal and confidential information and materials safely and efficiently.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Thorough attention to detail.
