An exciting Fintech company is currently hiring for a Fraud Strategy Manager. This role will work closely with the senior stakeholders in the business and drive huge value for the business.

This role is an excellent opportunity to move into a fast-paced environment and take on real responsibility for business decisions and have the innovative space to have impact and drive change.


THE COMPANY


This Fintech business are in the SME lending space and are known for being a dynamic and fast paced organisation where you’ll be able to have a lot of impact with your work. They provide great flexibility for their employees and offer great stock options with the benefits package.


THE ROLE


You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:


  • Define, manage, and enhance fraud detection and prevention strategies.

  • Achieve a balanced approach between minimizing losses and optimizing customer outcomes (addressing false positives and process friction).

  • Cover all geographies where the company operates

  • Assess and manage various fraud types, with a primary focus on application fraud (both 3rd party and 1st party), payment fraud, and internal fraud risks.

  • Collaborate closely with fraud operations and risk teams to evaluate fraud exposures, review defense systems, and enhance associated processes.

  • Provide effective oversight of performance related to fraud prevention capabilities.

  • Identify, investigate, and report on trends in fraud risk using appropriate monitoring, analytical exploration, and targeted case reviews.

  • Take proactive measures to mitigate existing and emerging fraud threats.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


  • Experience in developing Fraud prevention strategies within lending

  • Ideally application fraud experience

  • FinTech experience is ideal
