The Role:We are seeking a Head of Payments to lead our payments operation and strategy globally. The individual in this role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payment processing.
Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive payment strategy and minimize payment-related issues.To build and lead a high-performing payments teamOversee payment processing, fraud prevention, and payment reconciliation to ensure efficient and accurate payment transactions.Manage relationships with payment service providers, financial institutions, and third-party vendors to enhance payment processing capabilities and negotiate favourable terms.Using data-driven insights and analytics to identify payment trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities to reduce churn by improving payment success rates.Ensure compliance with relevant payment regulations and industry standards, and implement robust security measures to protect customer data and financial transactions.Continuously optimise the payment experience for subscribers, reducing friction and enhancing ease of payment.Collaborate with other departments, including product, customer support, and ecommerce, to align payment strategies with overall business goals and customer satisfaction.Establish KPIs and regularly report on payment success rates, transaction performance, and key metrics to senior management.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, and best practices to drive innovation and improve payment processes.
Requirements:Proven global experience in similar roleExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.In-depth knowledge of payment processing, fraud prevention, and chargeback managementStrong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions.Strong understanding of payment compliance and security requirements.
