We are looking for an experienced Trust & Safety professional with operational and people management experience to be our new Head of Trust & Safety Operations. In this role you will have the overall responsibility for leading Noice’s Trust and Safety enforcement operations.

Joining the company’s Trust & Safety leadership team early on you will have a crucial role in designing, developing, and operating a global, best-in-class Trust & Safety function that is essential for meeting Noice’s ambitious growth targets responsibly and safety.

We rely on automated systems for the bulk of our enforcement processes. However, this role will carry occasional exposure to a range of sensitive and graphic content as part of the core responsibilities, particularly in response to escalations and incidents. We strongly support the well-beign of all of our employees, and being aware of this prior to considering this role is a key first step in doing this work safely.

We are a distributed company with most of our team based in Europe with hubs in Helsinki, Finland and London, UK.We are a distributed company with most of our team based in Finland and are open to local or remote candidates, who are based a maximum two timezones away from Helsinki time (CET+1).

What You’ll Be Doing


  • Manage and refine our 24/7 Trust & Safety enforcement operations and processes in collaboration with Trust & Safety leadership, vendor partners, and our product and engineering teams.

  • Build out and manage our in-house T&S team, providing feedback to help them grow within their career.

  • Review and own case escalations and incidents from vendor partners to ensure safe and effective disposition to minimize harms

  • In collaboration with Trust & Safety and senior company leadership, maintain and improve on programs to ensure and protect the well-being of Noice staff and partners who have exposure to sensitive content

  • Monitor and drive enforcement operations metrics to identify, recommend and improve on processes, product, enforcement and detection tools, training and policies.


What We’re Are Looking For


  • At least three years of experience in a leadership position in charge of a Trust & Safety operational team or teams

  • Demonstrated experience in building and growing effective operational teams and managing individual contributors

  • Strong interpersonal and people skills that are demonstrated through experience in leading expert organizations consisting of in-house and outsourced staff

  • Demonstrated experience of designing, developing and maintaining effective enforcement, appeals and quality processes and tooling

  • Ability to clearly communicate your ideas and solutions and talk about them with the team, as well as produce professional documentation and updates in English

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, rapid learning ability, proactiveness that give you the ability to thrive in dynamic, startup-like environments where execution speed matters and new domains need to be mastered rapidly

  • Solid understanding of gamers, gaming culture, multiplayer games and of gaming content creators

  • Experience managing service vendor relationships
