We are seeking a detail-orientedKYC Due Diligence Analystto join our team. The KYC Due Diligence Analyst will be responsible for conducting thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence reviews and assessments of Lithic’s Enterprise customers (and Privacy). The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent research capabilities, and the ability to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

As aKYC Due Diligence Analystyou will be responsible for conducting enhanced due diligence reviews on all Lithic clients. You will support in managing various processes, including on-boarding, periodic reviews, special event-triggers, and ad-hoc projects to keep Lithic and its clients safe and compliant.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work cross functionally with Sales, Legal, and Operations to on-board customers

  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence assessments on potential customers (individuals, entities, and/or events related to current or prospective customers through public records, open-source media, vendor systems, or other research tools)

  • Performs more complex investigations into ownership and control to identify all ultimate beneficial owners for KYC risk management purposes

  • Perform sanctions and adverse media checks

  • Utilize various research tools and methodologies to gather relevant information, including regulatory filings, market reports, and industry trends

  • Identify potential red flags, discrepancies, and areas of concern during due diligence investigations and escalate issues as needed

  • Perform risk assessment and customer profile creation

  • Manage customer DD/KYC rescreens

  • Assess the accuracy, completeness, and quality of CIP/KYC/EDD documentation, high risk factors, transactions, negative news, and risk mitigation for high risk customers

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert and point of contact for all KYC/EDD onboarding inquiries and escalations that arise

  • Manage Lithic’s internal systems and assist in iterating and optimizing various processes and tools

  • Ensure close communication and information sharing with other compliance colleagues

  • Prepare detailed due diligence reports summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders

  • Document and keep internal tracking systems up to date

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of financial services regulatory compliance experience with a focus on KYC/EDD and Investigations

  • Deep knowledge of AML/OFAC, Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act on-boarding requirements and FinCEN Customer Identification Program (CIP) Guidance

  • Have experience ruling out false positives (negatives news hit and/or sanction hits)

  • Excellent research capabilities and proficiency in utilizing various research tools and databases

Base salary range: $18,000 USD - $24,000 USD
