Function411 Locals is seeking an experienced and driven Manager of Fraud Investigations to join the 411 Local’s team. This is a key role that will report directly to the Chief Administration Officer (CAO). The Manager will have primary accountability for leading internal and external investigations to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, protect the company's interests, hold people accountable and maintain its reputation. This role requires the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners and prefer a background in intelligence or law enforcement. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with the ability to operate independently while achieving excellent results.
Scope & Key ResponsibilitiesLead internal and external investigations into alleged misconduct, fraud, or other violations of company policies or applicable laws.Collaborate closely with legal counsel and international attorneys to ensure investigations are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations to insure the legal requirements to hold employees or competitors accountable.Coordinate with all teams within the organization to gather information and support investigations.Conduct interviews with agents and ensure that every agent is demonstrating the company's commitment to integrity.Conduct interviews with customers as part of investigations into alleged misconduct or fraud.Collect and analyze evidence that can be used in international cases across multiple jurisdictions including the US, Bulgaria, Philippines, Mexico, India, and others.Investigate competition to understand their operations, financial standing, and any potential illegal activities that could be impacting 411 Locals.Build the necessary evidence to allow for criminal investigations, working closely with law enforcement agencies such as the FBI or countries equivalent law enforcement, as well as, civil cases to protect the company's interests.Represent the company in interactions with appropriate US and international agencies to drive criminal cases forward, including the FBI and FCC.Identify system loopholes and vulnerabilities and collaborate with external vendors to address and mitigate risks.Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOP) for information security, reporting, and actions to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the organization.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.Extensive experience in internal investigations, intelligence gathering, law enforcement, or a related field, with a strong understanding of investigative techniques and procedures.Proven track record of conducting thorough and effective investigations, including experience in interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence.Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions, particularly in the US and internationally.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify patterns and draw conclusions from complex data.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Professional certifications in investigation or related areas (e.g., Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Forensic Interviewer) are a plus.
