What You Will Be Doing

The Risk Manger is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, executing, and overseeing all onboarding and credit underwriting and/or merchant risk operations in the organization. The role will ensure continued development and maintenance of a strong risk framework to effectively manage risk, comply with mandates, and apply industry best practices in all functions. In this role, the Risk Manger will help drive process and system improvements to meet the current and future needs of the organization. This role will be responsible for managing and supervising personnel.

What You Bring

Build, develop, mentor, and retain high performing team members in support of risk functionsIdentify, recommend, and implement new processes or workflows that improve and streamline organizational processesCarry out effective trainings to new hires and existing employeesCommunicate with the sales organization and other business units regarding the implementation and coordination of risk mitigating strategiesEnsure a balanced risk review approach consistent with company objectivesResolve escalated issues or escalate to mgt. as needed while making recommendationsEnforce all company risk facing polices (Credit, AML, Risk Monitoring, other).
