Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. Responsibilities

  • Lead team to ensure everyone is focused on the most important and impactful work, holding the team accountable for results.

  • Gather information relevant to the business, break down the information, make comparisons and trade-offs between similar and dissimilar options, and identify the option that is most desirable for achieving the objectives.

  • Be the escalation point of contact for the team and run negotiations with cross-functional partners.

  • Initiate and lead projects to resolve abuse and harm, fighting and mitigation problems, and build trusted user experiences of high complexity.

  • Strengthen global partnerships with executive stakeholders, across and beyond Trust and Safety to identify and advance common goals, and act as a reliable domain expert for stakeholders.
