Job Summary

As part of the Risk & Fraud Solutions team at Effectiv, you will represents Effectiv's fraud and risk expertise to our customers and prospects, actively consults clients on the platform, their existing fraud problems, and brainstorms and implements their best possible solutions. This role is part of the product organization and offers future opportunities for growth in pre-sales, product management, or senior solution architecture.

You will be the product expert and responsible for solutions, product improvements and client satisfaction. That includes onboarding, set-up, and training new customers on the platform, as well as analyzing data to customize existing strategies and create new solutions. As an early member of the team, you will truly own the responsibility for long-term customer satisfaction. Besides, you will actively engage in POCs and prospect discussion, and actively working with the sales team on discovery new opportunity and problems.

The solution specialist will work hand-in-hand with Effectiv's founding team and other leading experts and advisors to establish, refine, and make solution success a repeatable and scalable function across the companies.

The ideal candidate is an outspoken, analytical and responsible problem solver who combines initial knowledge about fraud and/or compliance risk with a very customer-centric, empathic mindset and the ability to manage themselves effectively. This is a highly interactive role working with customers, prospects and colleagues in product, sales, and engineering.

Responsibilities

Onboarding and managing clients and their fraud and risk solutions end-to-end - you are responsible so that customers get the most out of the Effectiv solution and never feel left alone

Engaging in pre-sales discussions and proof-of-concepts - together with the sales team, you will engage in exciting opportunities and help to create the vision for future customers, what all is possible with the platform

Communicating with customers and prospects to understand their needs and challenges and help them with their product, fraud, and risk problems

Analyze data, brainstorm, and design new solutions that help to solve the customers' challenges

Consult & train customers on best practices and how to use the platform

Develop internal processes and documentation to improve your and the customer's workflow constantly

Closely working with the product, engineering and sales team to improve Effectiv's platform and products; This will require morning calls with colleagues in Asia and afternoon calls with customers and team members in the US timezone.

Be curious and open-minded - learn as much about the space as possible and come up with creative solutions to their problems

Requirements

3+ years of experience in a consultative, technology-related role working with customers (solution architect, solution specialist, technical pre-sales, customer-facing data scientist, fraud/risk consultant, and product-related roles)

Knowledge in solving fraud, KYC, and/or AML, transaction fraud problems is a strong plus

Strong communication skills in English - ability to present and explain complicated topics to customers and colleagues

Ability to travel and work with US customers - Effectiv's customer base is primarily in the US, and you will be expected to work closely with them. However, we try to minimize evening calls as much as possible.

A customer-first mentality and the mindset to do what is needed to make a customer or POC successful

The joy of solving problems and the ability to find, present and discuss different solutions quickly

An analytical mindset and the ability to analyze (or quickly learn) data with different products (Tableau, Superset, etc); Elementary SQL knowledge, and ideally basic knowledge of python are highly desirable

Ability to work and navigate your way within a fast-growing startup environment

Although this is a remote position, as you will be collaborating extensively with our customers and engineering team, we require your working hours to be within GMT +- 2h with a significant overlap of US working hours
